HanZ and Sylvia first met as schoolmates, but after graduation, their paths led them in very different directions.

 

HanZ became a multi-preneur, building businesses across F&B, e-sports, automotive, real estate, and financial consultancy. Known for his friendly, charismatic nature and keen eye for opportunity, he has always been driven to innovate and create meaningful connections through his ventures. When coliving first emerged in Singapore, his curiosity and entrepreneurial spirit drew him to explore the sector. Even amidst the challenges of COVID-19 — from isolating tenants to supporting residents through uncertain times — HanZ pressed on, growing his coliving business while creating homes that prioritize comfort, care, and community.

 

Sylvia, on the other hand, spent over a decade in the corporate world, juggling her career with family commitments. While successful, she felt a quiet pull toward something more fulfilling. Her curiosity and drive for learning led her to explore property investments, and by chance, she encountered coliving — a term that was completely new to her. Intrigued, she wasted no time in diving in, transitioning from corporate professional to hands-on entrepreneur. With her explorative spirit, attention to detail, and genuine care for people, Sylvia created spaces that were not only well-maintained and thoughtfully decorated, but truly felt like home for her tenants.

Years after school, their paths crossed again — this time through the close-knit coliving industry. They quickly realized that their skill sets, values, and vision for coliving complemented each other perfectly. HanZ’s expertise in business growth and operations paired seamlessly with Sylvia’s focus on tenant care and creating welcoming homes.

  1. What is coliving?
    Coliving is a modern, hassle-free way of living where you enjoy your own private room while sharing common spaces like the kitchen and living area. It’s flexible, convenient, and community-focused — with utilities, cleaning, and maintenance all taken care of, so you can focus on living your best life.
  2. Is coliving suitable for first-time renters in Singapore?
    Definitely! Coliving is perfect if you’re new to renting. Your room comes fully furnished, cleaning and maintenance are handled for you, and our friendly support team is always ready to help. Plus, you’ll be living with welcoming housemates, making it easy to settle in and feel at home.
  1. What’s included in my rent?
    Your rent usually covers everything you need:
  • Fully furnished room
  • Utilities (water, electricity, gas) capped at $80 per person
  • High-speed internet
  • Weekly cleaning of common areas
  • Weekly room cleaning (where applicable)

  1. Are the rooms fully furnished?
    Yes! All rooms come with essentials like a bed, wardrobe, desk, and storage. We also provide a pillow, waterproof pillow cover, and waterproof mattress cover — just bring your luggage and you’re ready to move in.
  2. What appliances are provided?
    Each unit comes with a fully equipped kitchen and essential appliances, including a refrigerator, stove/hob, microwave, washing machine & dryer, rice cooker, and electric kettle. You’ll also find everyday essentials like cutlery, utensils, crockery, pots and pans, an iron and ironing board, vacuum cleaner, and mop.
  3. Is cooking allowed?
    Yes, absolutely! Feel free to cook and enjoy the kitchen. To keep things pleasant for everyone, foods with strong or lingering smells such as durian, fermented foods, or heavily spiced dishes are not allowed. Be mindful of your housemates, and remember to clean up immediately after cooking so the kitchen is ready for the next person.
  4. Is there a minimum stay?
    Yes. Due to URA regulations in Singapore, the minimum stay is 3 months. That said, our team has a soft spot for longer-term stays.
  5. Who will I be living with?
    You’ll be sharing the apartment with like-minded individuals — usually working professionals or students. We carefully curate our communities to ensure a comfortable, respectful, and easy-going living environment.
  6. Are couples allowed?
    It depends on the room and property. Some rooms are for single occupancy, while others can accommodate couples. Check the listing details or reach out to us for guidance.
  7. Can I choose my room?
    Yes, subject to availability. Our team will help match you with a room that fits your preferences, budget, and move-in date.
  1. Is cleaning included? Yes! All common areas are cleaned weekly. Our premium properties also offer weekly room cleaning — please refer to the listing for details. We handle the cleaning so you can enjoy stress-free living.
  2. How do I report maintenance issues? Easy! Each unit has a group chat for shared issues, and each room has its own chat for room-specific matters. Our support team monitors both and will assist promptly.
  1. Is there a security deposit?
    Yes, a security deposit is required to secure your room — typically 1 month’s rent for a 1-year lease. If paying upfront isn’t convenient, we also offer a deposit-free option. All details (amounts, terms, and refund conditions) are clearly explained in your agreement.
  2. Will I get my security deposit back?
    Yes. When your tenancy ends, return the room and unit in good condition (normal wear and tear is fine), along with all keys and items provided. A sanitization and housekeeping fee of $80 for common rooms or $120 for master bedrooms will be deducted. The landlord will inspect the room by the 14th of the following month, and the remaining balance will be refunded after accounting for any applicable fees, penalties, or repair costs.
  3. When is rent due?
    Invoices are issued on the 25th of each month. Rent is paid in advance for the upcoming month, anytime between the 25th and the 1st. Payments are reconciled by the 3rd, and official receipts will be provided.

    Simply reach out via our website or enquiry form. Our team will guide you through availability, viewings, and the booking process step by step.
  2. How do I schedule a viewing?
    Share the following details, and we’ll contact you via WhatsApp to arrange a viewing:

  1. Are visitors allowed?
    Yes! Visitors are welcome from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with prior notice in the unit group chat. Overnight stays aren’t allowed — only registered tenants may stay in the unit.
  2. Are pets allowed?
    We love animals too, but pets aren’t allowed in our coliving spaces to keep the shared environment safe and comfortable for everyone.
  3. Is smoking allowed?
    For everyone’s health and comfort, smoking isn’t allowed in any of our coliving spaces — “smoking” your landlord is strictly off-limits too!
  4. Is LGBTQ+ allowed?
    Yes, absolutely. We welcome residents of all sexual orientations and gender identities. Our coliving spaces are built on mutual respect, inclusivity, and comfort.
  5. I have a problem with a particular housemate, what should I do?
    Fret not — we’re here to support you! You’ll have dedicated room support, and our team is always just a call or text away. Let us know about any issues, and we’ll work with you to keep your home comfortable and harmonious.
  1. Am I allowed to park my car, van, or motorbike in the condo?
    Yes! Parking is available, though it may be subject to an additional cost depending on the property.
  2. Where can I park my bicycle?
    You can park your bicycle in the condo’s designated bike area, or safely in your own personal space inside your unit.
  1. Can I extend my lease?
    Absolutely! If you’re enjoying your stay, let us know in advance, and we can discuss extending your lease, subject to availability.
  2. Can I switch rooms or units later?
    Yes, subject to availability. Our team can help you explore options if you’d like to move to a different room or unit within the property.
  3. What if I need a shorter or longer lease?

    We’re happy to work with you. Options depend on the property and availability, so just reach out and we’ll find the best solution.
